Important Information Regarding the Next Update

I've decided that for the next update I'm going to be taking on a big undertaking, which will be a complete overhaul to the class system. It's something I've thought about for awhile and have decided to finally add it. This means that the next update WILL require a new save game and previous saves will not be compatible (well, they'll "work" but the classes won't work properly). This also means all the classes, skills, and enemies are going to be rebalanced. This is all going to take some time but I'll be trying to get it done as soon as possible. I won't know for sure how long until I'm closer to the completion of everything, as of right now I'm only about 5-10% done with it.

So what exactly is being changed/overhauled? Well, each class is now going to have specializations that cater to a more specific kind of playstyle. The amount of starting classes is going to be reduced to 8(maybe 9?) but none of the current classes are going to be removed. All the new starting classes will be relatively weak up until level 10 when you can choose your first specialization path from a choice of 3. After which you'll start gaining stats faster and get the bulk of your skills until level 60. At this point you'll choose your final specialization from a choice of 2 and start gaining stats slower up to the level cap of 200. More specifically, by the time you hit level 59 you'll have 4.5x the stats you had at level 10, and at level 200 you'll have 5x the stats you did at level 60.  You'll still be gaining skill points to spend on skills as well as the new addition of passives.

The image attached to this post is a sneak peek at one of the classes and how it flows. This is what was previously the Knight class. The Knight still exists but it's functions have now been split up into 3 distinctive  classes. Not every class works exactly similar, this is just one example. All the new classes and their flow charts and stats are already done, but now the real work of actually adding it all into the game begins. Things may change a bit but the main ideas are pretty much locked down.

Since I'm still so early in the implementation of it all, it's going to take some time. I'd rather do this sooner rather than later before even more things will need to be changed to account for this new system. I thought about working on another update simultaneously but decided it wouldn't be worth it when this update would require a new save game anyway.

I'll try to make this as good as possible and hope you'll find it much more enjoyable than the current system.
